Banana Smoothie

This is a basic banana smoothie is sweetened slightly by adding a small amount of grapes. Banana smoothies are rich in potassium, vitamin K, phosphorous and natural sugars. Try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon for an added spiciness

  • 1 cup milk (substitute with almond or soy milk)
  • 1 ripe banana, cut into halves
  • 1/4 cup grapes
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1-3 ice cubes
